Logistics Manager

The plant in Bieruń is the newest Lear branch operating in Poland since January 2018. It deals with lamination of materials for the automotive industry. Plant hires above 100 people and is still growing.

 

Currently we are looking for strong leader for the position of Logistics Manager who will report directly to Plant Manager.

Your tasks will be:

  • Create, manage and supervise planning, transport and warehousing operations in the plant to provide a best in class service
  • People Management – effective deployment and development of resources and skills
  • Ensure synergies and integration with warehousing, transportation, planning and production to enable customer’s service satisfaction
  • Actively promote a Health & Safety culture
  • Regular monitor all relevant KPI’s ensuring an efficient and cost effective processes
  • Promote a continuous improvement culture and projects where applicable


We expect from you:

  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing and automotive environment working within a logistics area, on leadership position
  • Practical experience in 3rd party logistics management, planning and transport and warehouse management
  • Proficiency with MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fluent English / Polish language (written and spoken)
  • Extensive numerical and verbal reasoning skills; high commercial / financial awareness
  • Determined and decisive; uses initiative to develop effective solutions to problems
  • Excellent interpersonal skills - good communicator, leadership, high integrity
