As a member of the Maintenance/Engineering team, the Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for instructing and coordinate the activities of all personnel in the department to maintain top efficiency and productivity.


The Role:

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

  • Contact and coordinate work with outside contractors, vendors, and suppliers.
  • Interpret and enforce company policies and safety regulations.
  • Study production schedules and estimate worker hour requirements for completion of job assignments.
  • Analyze and resolve work problems or assist employees in solving work problems.
  • Maintain time and attendance records.
  • Administer disciplinary action as needed.
  • Requisition tools, equipment and supplies.
  • Work with teams to improve station layouts, identify 8 waste opportunities, poke yokes, and implement 5s methodology into work areas.
  • Support and lead team Kaizen activities.
  • Assist in launch programs as necessary.
  • Confer with other Engineers to coordinate activities.
  • Directly supervise hourly maintenance technician employees.
  • Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units.
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
  • Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Your Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate ability in maintaining positive employment relation
  • Maintain a high level of integrity
  • Excellent organizational and computer skills.
  • Associate’s degree (A.A.); two years related experience and/or training (Bachelor’s degree Preferred)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Windows/Excel/Word

  • Experience with Automated Equipment and Processes (PLC’s and Robotics)
