As a member of the Finance team, the Accounting Specialist will be responsible for closing A/P sub-ledger monthly, validating content and resolving various payable related issues. The Accounting Specialist will work closely with different departments to resolve open outstanding invoices, POs and old aging items (External and I/C).


The Role:

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

  • Close Intercompany sub-ledger monthly, validated content and resolved various open issues.
  • Accurately process Credit and Debit Memo with proper documentation
  • To keep track of QN and other charge-back to suppliers
  • Close analysis of business requisitions and other open items for month end accruals
  • To monitor expenses recorded to correct accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports recording month end accruals entries
  • To perform record retention and other administrative functions, as and when required

Your Qualifications:

  • Strong skills in analysis, attention to detail, thoroughness, organization, and record keeping
  • Hard working, able to work under pressure, positive attitude, ability to accept additional responsibilities and work overtime during close
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with 2 to 3 years of experience in accounts payable
  • Proficient in the use of AS400, JBA and Microsoft Office (Excel)



Bonus If You Have:

  • Experience in a manufacturing setting
  • SAP knowledge
  • Knowledge of fixed assets
