As a member of the Engineering team, the Industrial Engineer will be responsible for organizing engineering and management objectives for launch readiness, labor optimization objectives, and production responsiveness.


The Role:

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

  • Design process flow and maintain plant layouts in AutoCAD
  • Conduct cost reduction process and analysis for continuous improvement; Assure that production line maintenance processes procedures and personnel fully support engineering and management objectives
  • Obtain a positive trend on OEE tracking.
  • Responsible for assisting with set-up and maintenance of electric and pneumatic tool set-up and calibration and process improvements.
  • Preparation and maintenance of Standard Work Instruction (SWI) sheets.
  • Small Tool procurement
  • Assisting associate team leaders and process technicians in troubleshooting manufacturing problems.
  • Maintaining the standard hour system using MOST and /or stopwatch study.
  • Assist the Sr. Industrial Engineer and Process Engineer in special projects.
  • Preparation of quotes for process standard hour changes, especially for the SA/RFQ process.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities, as deemed necessary by engineering.


Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or in a related field of study.
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer or Industrial Engineer or in a related occupation.
  • Experience must include AutoCAD, Atlas Copco Torque tool, Time study, Kaizen, value stream mapping, and PFMEA
  • Clear understanding of modular bill or materials
  • Knowledge of how the SA/RFQ system flows
  • Skilled in ERP (AS400) and MES system
