MVP Stockroom Clerk

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure health, safety, and environmental regulations are followed
  • Manage MVP system for spare parts and PMs.  Generate reports as needed
  • Use MVP system to track Min/Max levels, MTTR, MTBF, and PM completion rates
  • Inventory current spare parts
  • Maintain the critical part parts list at current inventory level
  • Access Coupa to put requisitions in the system for needed spare parts
  • Track usage of spare parts
  • Train maintenance department to follow procedure of checking out spare parts from the store
  • Spare part management – track, assign, and follow-up
  • Archive of BOM’s for all equipment
  • Regular inventory audit counts
  • 5S – Ensure a clean and organized environment
  • Confer with management or subordinates to resolve worker problems and complaints
  • Work with Engineering and Maintenance team to identify needs

 

Requirements:

  • Must have knowledge on maintenance spare parts
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, maintenance methods, and coordination of people and resources
  • Knowledge of assembly machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance upkeep of equipment
  • Ability to give written or verbal communication
  • Ability to tell when something is wrong or is like to go wrong and communicate to management
  • Ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing
  • Must be capable of leading a team, distributing work, and show demonstrated leadership capabilities.  Must be able to work with others
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
