Position Overview 

The cost and price analyst is in charge of Carry out cost studies for new products, conduct profitability studios using PAR tool and keep up to date and ensure traceability cost studies.


Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):

  • Carry out a cost study for new products gathering the necessary needs of the main functions of the company; product and process engineering, logistics, purchasing, human resources and management.
  • Coordinate the necessary meetings of the bid committee to agree on the relevant cost data.
  • Participate in cost analysis meetings when changes are necessary to converge with business objectives. Investigate in the company's records the necessary data for the elaboration of new costs, such as purchase prices, returns, value of investments and tools, development expenses, etc.
  • Make estimations or consult with experts to evaluate the costs of operations, investments or unusual activities.
  • Maintain traceability of cost studies until the serial entry phase and project closure.
  • Carry out cost studies of products in serial life at the request of the management.


To be a success in this role you must have:

- Engineering degree, technical background is a must,

- Technical process and product knowledge in metals transformation industry is a must (welding, assembling, stamping...) Roll forming knowledge would be a nice to have

- Excellent language skills: English 

- Good communication skills in a global organization, self-driven, highly trustable person, team player

- Business and financial knowledge- background or experience would be really appreciated
