Position Overview:

As a Program Manager based in Oberding, Germany you will take a lead on the delivery of multiple programs for the Seating division. You will be leading global cross functional teams which includes sales, engineering, manufacturing, finance, quality and purchasing. You will be in charge of program timeline development, documentation and execution ensuring scope, quality, timing and cost targets are met.

 

 

Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):

  • Lead cross functional teams to plan and flawlessly execute programs which exceeds both customer and internal expectations.
  • Taking responsibility of the program to ensure it is delivered on time, within budget, within approved profitability and to required quality standards.
  • Planning and executing of all activities in accordance with the milestones defined by the customer
  • Fully understand of program cost and ability to set action plan to achieve and improve profitability
  • Managing product changes, according to flexibility and cost defined/agreed with Engineering and Sales
  • Review of program spend on monthly basis i.e. Tooling, Engineering Costs, Purchasing Piece Prices and Capex spend vs Margin Roadmap
  • Identifying possible risks and critical points and applying the necessary corrective actions by escalating to get the needed support.
  • Achievement of project milestones & product financials

 

To be a success in this role you must have:

  • Successfully completed Bachelor's degree in technical subject
  • Experience working in automotive field
  • 2+ years of work experience in project management leading cross functional teams both local and distributed in highly dynamic environments
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluent in English, German is an advantage
  • Proactive, accountable, can-do attitude and resilient.
