An exciting new position as opened up to join our resident quality team serving the new Meknes Wiring Plant ( Morocco)  based our of the new Berlin Tesla Plant.

 

This is a new position which will report to Lear Morocco Meknes Quality Manager . The person will be Lear Meknes's “ hands and eyes” in front of the customer, supporting Lear plant and customer in solving the quality issues raised by customer or by plant, in order to secure the customer as soon as possible.

 

Additional duties will include:

 

  • Start a preliminary analysis of any quality issue detected at the customer company.
  • Knowing of all customer assembly processes to detect potential quality issues.
  • Invite Lear team to analyze any quality issues.
  • Follow Lear's status and due date regarding 3D and 8D reports.
  • Share the VOC “voice of the customer" to Lear team.
  • Validate the effectiveness of the actions from the point of view of assembly at customer.
  • Report the rework performed at customer in the good due date.
  • Share a complaint report once a quality issue is detected by Lear or by the customer.
  • Coordinate the implementation and report the results of any customer security activity "containment plan".
  • Create and follow the open issues list with all plants where there are unresolved issues.
  • Support the customer on quality issues, independently of the source of the problem.
  • Create an environment of trust at the customer to avoid an official complaint when a quality issue is detected.
  • Negotiate with the customer the reduction of the number of rejected parts or the cancellation of the complaint.
  • If sorting is needed, contact a sorting company, and manage the sorting process.
  • Manage and monitor the Rework flow at the customer.
  • Actively collaborate with all functions to achieve/maintain the following certifications:
  • IATF 16949.
  • ISO  14001.

 

To be a success in this role you must have:

 

  • Previous Experience in a quality position in automotive industry 
  • BS/BA in any related field and 2 years’ experience in an automotive just in time environment.
  • Knowledge of terminology pertaining to quality assurance as needed to respond to questions and provide oversight.
  • Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
  • Experience interacting with OEM customers

  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal service to include customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to analyze problems to include asking the appropriate questions and gathering additional information to identify causes of and solutions to problems.
  • Ability to recognize relationships between facts, information, or situations as needed to integrate information from various sources.
  • Good communication en English & German 

 

Position based in Berlin
