Plzen (Pilsen), Czech Republic Following its establishment in 2012, today Plzen is our fastest growing Engineering Development Center in Europe; the development center works on the design and development of Lear Products related to Mechanical Engineering such as complex seating mechanisms and structures, foams, coatings, plastics, and trim development. Today, there is a headcount of approximately 250 employees. The vision for Plzen is not to work as an internal supplier for our European business units but to develop into a leading Design and Development Center working on projects for all major European OEM customer groups from concept phase through to delivery.
Your tasks:
- Completion of various logistics planning tools
- Packaging planning and packaging development based on LEAR packaging standards as well as monitoring of the transport and packaging flow
- Creation of models for calculating logistics costs for sales
- Support of purchasing and sales in logistics cost negotiations
- Controlling and monitoring the development of the material flow between JIT plants and customers
- Analysis of customer logistics requirements and specifications
- Start-up support for JIT plants
Your qualification:
- Technical or business degree or comparable training – ideally with a focus on logistics / supply chain management
- First professional experience in the field of logistics
- Business fluent language skills in German and English
- Planning and organizational talent
- Teamwork and assertiveness
- Task management in a constantly changing work environment
