As a member of the Operations team, the Operations Supervisor will act as liaison between Lear manufacturing plants, customers, and 3rd Party Warehouses, to ensure the flow of material accommodates customer demand and is shipped meeting the customers’ requirements from our warehouse. We are willing to take on a candidate with limited warehouse leadership experience and train them for success in this role. 


The Role:

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

  • Communicate daily with manufacturing plants to relay information, verify status and improve delivery dates at 3rd Party Warehouse. 
  • Support and work daily with manufacturing plant production control on resolving critical part shortages.
  • Ensure that the supply chain is filled to meet customer demand. If required, involve upper management in the decision-making process to meet customer demand. 
  • Work with Lear manufacturing plants and end customers to resolve premium freight issues and concerns.
  • Work with mfg plants, warehouses, and customers to resolve any inventory discrepancies, shipping discrepancies and customer delivery rating issues.
  • Prepare weekly reports per direction from Regional Operations Manager, cover for Ops Manager in absence.
  • Support Launch Activities at 3rd Party managed warehouses.
  • Support and follow all company policies including Quality Policy and the EH&S Policies, procedures, and rules, including helping to meet EH&S goals and objectives and 5S initiatives.
  • Support & Oversee Semi-Annual Physical Inventories.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


Your Qualifications:

  • One to two years of experience in a similar role
  • Good communication skills, along with good written and verbal skills
  • Medium to high computer skills, including experience in Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Problem solving methods, examples 8D, 5 Whys & Root Cause Analysis.


Bonus If You Have:

  •  Associates degree
  • A knowledge of automotive industry and systems Ford eDDL& Super G.
