Role overview:

As an Management Accountant you will be responsible for management of AP including monthly vendor reconciliations and GRNI cleardown, forecasting AR free cash flow and resolving AR unallocated cash issues, ensuring compliance with SOX financial controls and process mapping and improvement.  The role will also provide support to other members of the finance team and complete ad hoc work as and when required.

This position will be based in Redditch, UK.


Main Responsibilities:

  • AP query resolution and overall management of AP metrics
  • To complete monthly vendor reconciliations.
  • To manage and run the GRNI clear down process.
  • Forecasting of AR free cash flow.
  • Management of AR unallocated cash.
  • Purchase Saves monitoring, tracking and reporting.
  • To document all processes within their responsibility.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process and control improvements
  • To complete Balance Sheet reconciliations with full audit trail
  • To participate in quarterly internal control reviews as part of the SOX testing process.
  • To support with internal and external audits.


Key skills and Qualifications:

  • CIMA / ACCA Part Qualified Accountant
  • Finance/Business degrees would be advantageous
  • Excellent IT skills especially Excel
  • BPCS experience is desitable
  • Good working knowledge of IBM iSeries (AS400) is desirable
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Mature and pro-active approach with the commitment to exceeding customer requirements.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple conflicting deadlines.
  • Flexible problem solving approach.
  • Team player
