Supervisor II

Basic Function:

Plans, organizes, and executes all manufacturing related functions associated with the seating operation.  Monitors and controls scrap and labor variances to standard.

Specific Duties

1. Conduct team meetings per schedule specific to: job awareness, training, company policy, customer requirements, health, safety and housekeeping
2. Responsible for subordinate safety compliance and training; functions as role model relative to safety and environmental issues.
3. Interface production schedule with capacity and manpower requirements resulting in variances favorable to standard.
4. Optimize all input resources: human, equipment and materials
5. Consistently abide by the employee handbook
6. Complete associated employee documentation in a timely manner
7. Coordinate processing, maintenance, Q.C., personnel, tooling and materials as they relate to optimization of production in a timely manner
8. Provide daily department status report to the manufacturing manager
9. Additional duties as required
