Lear Corporation is looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager to join our sales team within our Seating division. You will be based at Sindelfingen office.  
The Senior Account Manager delivers in time and in the requested quality. He is the main contact person to purchasing and controlling department of the customer. He drives autonomously the fulfilment of the respective commercial road maps

 

Main Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for commercial ownership of complete seat programs. Negotiate series projects and contracts with customer on from Buyer to Senior Management level.
  • Customer relationship management – OEM Buyer / Purchase Manager / Lead Engineers / Module Leaders / Piece Cost Engineers / Vendor Tooling Cost Engineers
  • Manage negotiation and closure of commercial issues with timely conclusion
  • Manage sales account with P&L responsibility, cost and pricing management and profitability ownership from project inception through to SOP
  • Deliver program(s) with committed financial metrics
  • Deliver engineering change quotations in line with agreed customer timeline.
  • Maintain internal reporting
  • Support business case approvals.
  • Report out program commercial status to senior level
  • Follow up on aging debt / drive cash-in collection in line with forecast dates +


 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience working within the automotive seating sector will be a plus
  • Highly developed commercial acumen, be a motivated self-starter and willingness to take the lead
  • Experience in tracking price changes, maintaining accurate records of changes including margin impacts
  • Be an effective communicator demonstrating highly developed interpersonal and negotiation skills
