Title: Finance Database Administrator 

Location: Southfield, MI



Position Overview:

The Database Administrator will be responsible for supporting master data input into BPCS and SAP under the guidance of the Senior DBA/Quote Analyst. Scope of the position includes developing a comprehensive understanding and mechanics of the financial, supply chain, and operational software encompassing global support.



Job Description:

  • Maintain master data including item, bills of materials, & routing setup
  • Ensure master alignment for new and existing programs through 1st Production Setup, NPC's (Notification of Process Change), TIP's (Test in Production), & SPIN's (Single Part Identification Number) and required
  • Lead customer quoting activity for specified OEM's including quote creation for Commercial Management through the integrated PA (Pricing Analysis) process
  • Within this role, you will work very closely with the Commercial Management and Process Engineering teams to ensure accurate price proposals are submitted to the end customer
  • Communicate and coordinate with production facilities & program management for program set ups and transfers.
  • Accurately and timely set up ERP master data, NPC’s, TIP’s, SPIN’s, and 1st production set ups
  • Lead customer quoting activity for specified OEM’s to support financial integrity and pricing accuracy
  • Ensuring data integrity while following proper policies and procedures
  • Identify streamlining and/or improvement opportunities to the current processes and systems



Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and/or Supply Chain Management
  • Preferably 2-3 years in a manufacturing environment preferably email
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, & Outlook)
