INVESTOR RELATIONS MANAGER/ANALYST
SOUTHFIELD, MICHIGAN – WORLD HEADQUARTERS

 

As a member of the Corporate Finance team, the Investor Relations Manager/Analyst will play a key role in inbound and outbound investment activities, including investor & board deck preparation, financial modeling, industry benchmarking, Q&A preparation and consensus analysis. 

 

The Role:

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

  • Prepare CEO and CFO for earnings calls and meetings with investors and equity analysts
  • Manage requests from investors, shareholders, and the BOD
  • Monitor daily news and stock movements of the Company and industry peers and provide summaries to Senior Leadership on market dynamics
  • Draft and edit general press releases, investor presentations, board presentations, memos, and factsheets with a keen attention to detail
  • Create and drive quarterly deliverables, including preparation of press releases, earnings call scripts and presentations, Q&A prep documents, financial analyses, and other associated materials
  • Perform regular analysis of Company’s shareholder base and shareholder targeting strategies
  • Target investors based on size and relative holdings of automotive peers
  • Monitor sell-side research analyst estimates and models
  • Perform peer benchmarking analyses
  • Conduct introductory calls with investors

 

Your Qualifications:

  • Experience in corporate finance, investor relations
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, management, business, engineering or related fields
  • Strong financial modeling skills
  • 2+ years’ applicable work experience
  • Outstanding critical thinking and oral and written communication skills
  • Solid foundation of corporate finance and accounting
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Strong financial and investment analysis capabilities, including deep understanding of financial modeling
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience working on complex problems and using data to develop solutions
  • Ability to communicate complex topics in concise, easy-to-understand format
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while striving for perfection
  • Advanced skills and experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

 

Bonus If You Have:

  • MBA
  • Experience with automotive market trends, research and/or analysis

 

*Based on experience & skillset, this role may be hired at the manager level.
