MANAGER, HR DATA ANALYTICS

SOUTHFIELD, MI or REMOTE

 

As a member of the HR team, the Manager, HR Analytics will be responsible for driving workforce analytics, insights, and reporting to help business leaders gain valuable insights and influence decision-making. 

 

 

The Role:

Your work will include but not be limited to:

  •  Data and Analytics Management and Reporting

    • Develop data analytics dashboards in Power BI and other tools for HR and the business

    • Ability to apply data visualization principles and best practices to effectively tell the story behind large, complex data sets, reports, and dashboards

    • Compile HR reporting and analytics deliverables, including the implementation of standardized recurring reports, ad hoc queries, analytics presentations, dashboards, and data models

    • Work with multiple data sources, including SuccessFactors and PeopleSoft as well as a data warehouse, to create integrated views that enhance user access to information and promote a data-driven culture

    • Analyze data and statistics for trends and patterns for a wide variety of employee related metrics

    • Assist with the development of data management best practices, user procedures, guidelines, and documentation for HR teams

    • Perform analyses supporting key corporate and business initiatives leading to data driven insights

    • Participate in the implementation of a data warehouse to store all consolidated HR data from multiple systems

    • Develop data analytics dashboards for HR and the business

    • Maintain current reports and the queries that support them

    • Partner with HR leaders to identify updates and improvements on regional data analytics dashboards

    • Provide support for HR leaders and senior leadership on metrics reporting and analysis

    • Serves as HR Analytics SME, providing expertise and knowledge to regional leads and senior leadership around use of tools and data analysis  

 

  •  Continuous Improvement

    • Make recommendations on data reporting and analysis based on issues / risks as well as continual improvement mindset

    • Partner with Manager, HR GBS Continuous Improvement & Technology for continuous improvement for data management within technology systems

    • Identify and work to resolve any data discrepancies and oversee data integrity for people analytics to ensure accuracy

    • Partner with HR leaders to identify updates and improvements on regional data analytics dashboards

    • Analyze data to develop and provide improvement plans through root cause analysis based on performance data inputs

    • Review and improve data analytics dashboards through feedback and need

 

​​​​​​​Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • 5+ years of related work experience, including experience in HCM Reporting and Data Analytics with a focus on data, transformation, modeling and reporting within an HR function

  • Demonstrated experience managing initiatives and reports targeted to business leadership and executive audiences

  • SuccessFactors and PeopleSoft and data warehouse experience required

  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively in a fast-paced work environment

  • Extensive experience with dashboard creation and data modeling within Power BI.

  • Advanced MS Excel skills (Power Pivot, Power Query, etc.) and experience with Power BI

  • Strategic and analytical skills with the ability to draw key insights from data and develop clear recommendations for business leaders across all functions

  • Knowledge of the local legal and regulatory requirements for data reporting, compliance, especially relating to data risks and privacy

  • Ability to foster relationships between organizational roles and across functions and regions to deliver a seamless customer experience

  • High subject matter expertise in data management, analysis and reporting best practices and technologies 

 

Bonus If You Have:

  • Experience building and integrating process automation solutions into existing systems to enhance efficiencies. 

  • Past success building predictive analytic tools for global teams

  • Experience with ServiceNow platform
