<span style="font-family:"Open Sans",sans-serif">As a member of the E-Systems purchasing team, the Senior Buyer will be responsible for supporting global purchasing initiatives as it pertains to the North American region for terminals and connectors. You’ll work with global cross functional teams and suppliers to implement cost savings opportunities, ensure cost effective procurement and delivery of material and service to support plant and customer requirements while executing commodity strategies and supply contracts.

<span style="font-family:"Open Sans",sans-serif">Your work will include, but not be limited to:

  • <span style="font-family:"Open Sans",sans-serif">Deliver Total Landed Cost Improvements while pursuing specific targets
  • <span style="font-family:"Open Sans",sans-serif">Support and execute global sourcing strategies and contracts
  • <span style="font-family:"Open Sans",sans-serif">Ensure coordination of purchasing initiatives with all regions
  • <span style="font-family:"Open Sans",sans-serif">Build and maintain relationships, both internal and with suppliers, which enhance our ability to deliver savings
  • <span style="font-family:"Open Sans",sans-serif">Support operational targets and inventory management actions

 

<span style="font-family:"Open Sans",sans-serif">Your Qualifications:

  • <span style="font-family:"Open Sans",sans-serif">BS Degree in related field
  • <span style="font-family:"Open Sans",sans-serif">Technical understanding of terminals and connectors
  • <span style="font-family:"Open Sans",sans-serif">Understanding of purchasing commodity management
  • <span style="font-family:"Open Sans",sans-serif">Ability to close out open issues in a timely fashion
  • <span style="font-family:"Open Sans",sans-serif">Strong written communication and presentation skills
  • <span style="font-family:"Open Sans",sans-serif">Strong negotiation capabilities
  • <span style="font-family:"Open Sans",sans-serif">Supplier relationship management
  • <span style="font-family:"Open Sans",sans-serif">Ability to collaborate with leaders across many functions and regions
  • <span style="font-family:"Open Sans",sans-serif">Strong leadership abilities
  • <span style="font-family:"Open Sans",sans-serif">Ability to work cross-functionally with Engineering, Sales and Program Management
