As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing embedded solutions and systems in a variety of areas including but not limited to: compute, connectivity and electrification. You will be working with a multidisciplinary team collaboratively developing hardware, platforms and system level solutions. You will determine system needs, advising hardware and systems designers on characteristics that affect applications, interfaces and operating systems.


The Role:

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Mobile Developer (iOS/Android)
  • Demonstrated experience as C/C++ developer with examples in github or other repositories
  • Demonstrated experience developing software on embedded hardware
  • Experience with Vector Tools, Intrepid Control Systems, Raspberry Pi/Ardunio
  • Experience with device interface and control including sensors, actuators and multi-processor environments
  • Experience with performance analysis, code optimization and system level optimization
  • Background in multiple functional areas: system level (Linux/QNX, etc), multimedia, graphics, drivers, or application interface.
  • Working knowledge of Agile software development methodologies

Your Qualifications:

  •  Knowledge and experience with embedded systems covering various SOC/processor families
  • Additional programming language experience (HTML, Python, Bash, Java, Ruby, etc.)
  • Experience dealing with virtualized environments/hypervisors
  • Familiarity of ML frameworks and their application
  • Experience in developing vehicle sub-systems (domains) or robotic control
  • Working experience in non-automotive industries
  • BS (CS, EE or Computer Eng.)

  •  Electrical, Hardware experience
