Working as Finance Manager Poland you will ensure integrity in the statutory financial reporting of 2 legal enities (including 9 plants + 3 engineering centers). You will support central finance and tax leaders in order to meet or exceed all financial targets. Additionally, in this role you will be providing guidance to the finance local teams on the statutory, US GAAP and tax matters.

Your responsibilities:
- Ensure the timely compliance with external financial reporting obligations including Special Economic Zone regulations
- Ensure all accounting procedures are in accordance with the corporate policies as well as in compliance with local government laws and regulations
- Supervise and improve the entire accounting processes within Polish plants including general ledger, accounts payables, accounts receivables, inventory, fixed assets and cash management
- Organize and control the process of calculating current year tax provision and deferred tax position both for US GAAP (ASC740) and local statutory purposes
- Manage an effective team by leading, coaching and mentoring direct reports and finance teams.
- Monitor continuously and harmonize application of both US GAAP, SOX and statutory legal requirements within Polish legal entity
- Work with the company’s tax advisors and maintain good relations with internal and external auditors and local banks
What we expect:
- Excellent knowledge of the local accounting standards and tax
- Knowledge of US GAAP and SOX will be an advantage
- Min. 10 years of similar experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment
- ACCA qualification will be an asset
- Fluent English and native Polish language
- Excellent Excel skills, experience in working with ERP and HFM systems
- Critical thinker - strong analytical skills and influencing ability
- Team work approach and remarkable interpersonal skills
