Position Overview:

Reporting to  Electrification Manager Global Advanced, main objectives are: Developing and delivering cost competitive reference platform/s on time, budget, quality target, meeting the internal customer requirements: Develop technical roadmap, concepts, partnerships, … to fulfill the market needs forecast in the upcoming years and support the Lear organization on new Opportunities (Engagement, RFI, RFQ).


The position is responsible for:

Managing Reference Platform/ADV team.
Responsible to negotiate Reference Platform targets with Product Management team.
Support Product Management, Advance Sales, … to support external opportunities and internal Lear business plans.
Develop project tasks (including infrastructure).
Lead cross-function/global project team
Accountable for overall timing.
Responsible searching new opportunities as: technologies scouting, alternative concepts, external partners…
Define and deploy roadmap for cost optimization.
Accountability and ownership of the Global WO and Capex for advanced BMS activities.
Integration with Agile methodology as main trend in coming years.
Represent Engineering in the Senior Management Meetings review.
Accountable to define ways to increase re-usability and reduce NRE in coordination with global cross function teams
