Position Overview

Reporting to the Senior Regional SQA Manager your mission will be to coordinate of all the SQA activities part of project launches, transfers and main changes. Likewise, to perform the corresponding supplier and documentation audits to ensure the fulfillment of all the milestones and timings or/and contain and prevent quality issues foreseeing roadblocks and troubles and solving/escalating them. Audit and validate new suppliers.


Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to)

  • Manage supplier performance with full ownership & responsibility.
  • Conduct product and processes supplier audits. Detects and identifies non conformities and carries out improvement / corrective action plans to prevent future potential failures.
  • Support plant in the Customer APQP audits ensuring their requirements at sub-supplier level are correctly understood and applied
  • Being the liaison with Customer STA’s responsible for sub-supplier issues and other items not specified that could lead to a risk of the projects.
  • 8D’s support, assurance and management, improving quality and closure timing
  • Ensure the promotion of awareness of customer quality requirements at sub-supplier level
  • Monitor current SQA tools usage and procedures fulfillment
  • Active role in new Supplier decisions done by Supplier Development : Audit & Selection
  • Lead the preparation and presentation of Suppler Review meetings
  • Assure escalation process through executive summaries. Raise the alarm when there is a risk for LEAR or/and Customer satisfaction or/and internal roadblock
  • Support plant SQA responsible or Quality Managers as escalation point in case of red flags or Customer deman


To be a success in this role you must have:

  • Engineering degree Electrical/Electronics/Telecomunications or PhD in Phisics
  • Fluent in English every second lenguaje is a plus.
  • Experience in Quality in automotive field is a must, in Electronics or electronic components knowledge is a plus
