<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">At Valls HQ for Electronics Europe and Africa we develop Automotive Electronic Control Units for applications including electrical control, comfort, security safety, and in-vehicle networking and electrification products. We need high-skilled engineers to give their best every day,and able to work in a very challenging environment.

 

Position Overview

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Lear is looking for a Technical Leadership role responsible for hardware design and development of high power converters and high voltage electronic products for EV/HEV vehicles. You will be involved in all phases of an electronic product development, from the concept definition, until release for production going through prototype, design and verification phases.

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">You will be part of a highly skilled cross-functional and cross-regional development team at the cutting edge of vehicle electrification technology.

 

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):

  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Understand customer requirements and translate them into a high-level architecture design.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Solid know-how on power conversion topologies (isolated and non-isolated) and analog/digital design.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Strong expertise on PFC and DCDC topologies design, Microcontroller based designs, Automotive communication buses (CAN, Ethernet, PMBus, ...), Vehicle-Grid communication standards (ISO, SAE, ...).
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Demonstrated background on electrical safety design and environment, and industry standard for High Voltage products design (IEC60664, IEC60950, UL840, ...).
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Deliver and monitor an accurate and robust design using standard industry simulation tools.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Lead technical communication with customer, other engineering areas, program management, suppliers and quality teams.

 

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">To be a success in this role you must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering Discipline (Electronics, Industrial, Mechanical…)
  • Fluent English
  • Electronics Background
  • Experience working in automotive field would be highly appreciated
  • V model knowledge would be a plus
  • Power electronics knowledge
  • Able to demonstrate leadership skills
