Helpdesk level 2- Senior IT Support Specialist, Corporate Non-Manufacturing Applications
Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, thorough, and organized IT Support Specialist to join our growing team. In this position, you will play a key role in providing support for all areas of Corporate Applications. You will be responsible for handling various support aspects, including applications, systems, troubleshooting problems, and providing hands-on support for IT issues within our organization, throughout the full life cycle of applications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Fulfill production support requests via web-based ticketing system
- Test and maintain up-to-date systems and security patches
- Facilitate application upgrades and migrations
- Experience with both system and application level access for Windows OS
- Engage and assist with both POC’s and onboarding for new applications
- Monitor and maintain system level resources
- Oversee troubleshooting for application and system errors
- Provide technical support for both local and remote users
- Adhere to strict change management protocols
- Adapt easily to constant changing priorities
- Ability to stay self-motivated, as well as perform in team environments
Requirements and Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, preferred, but not required
- 3-5 years of experience as an IT Support Specialist
- Exceptional ability to provide technical support and resolve issues
- Ability to determine IT needs and assist end-users
- Experience in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics
- Ability to keep up with technical innovation and trends in IT support
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
