Helpdesk level 2- Senior IT Support Specialist, Corporate Non-Manufacturing Applications



We are seeking a detail-oriented, thorough, and organized IT Support Specialist to join our growing team. In this position, you will play a key role in providing support for all areas of Corporate Applications. You will be responsible for handling various support aspects, including applications, systems, troubleshooting problems, and providing hands-on support for IT issues within our organization, throughout the full life cycle of applications.



Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Fulfill production support requests via web-based ticketing system
  • Test and maintain up-to-date systems and security patches
  • Facilitate application upgrades and migrations
  • Experience with both system and application level access for Windows OS
  • Engage and assist with both POC’s and onboarding for new applications
  • Monitor and maintain system level resources
  • Oversee troubleshooting for application and system errors
  • Provide technical support for both local and remote users
  • Adhere to strict change management protocols
  • Adapt easily to constant changing priorities
  • Ability to stay self-motivated, as well as perform in team environments



Requirements and Qualifications:


  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, preferred, but not required
  • 3-5 years of experience as an IT Support Specialist
  • Exceptional ability to provide technical support and resolve issues
  • Ability to determine IT needs and assist end-users
  • Experience in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics
  • Ability to keep up with technical innovation and trends in IT support
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
