<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">This role is responsible for the SW architecture within a software development project. It is responsible for the architectural description of the software of a specific project, including the Basic Software standard components the project uses.

  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Define the Software Architecture of a specific software development project
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Allocate software requirements to software architectural elements
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Ensure consistency and bilateral traceability of software requirements to software architectural design
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Define the interfaces of software architectural components
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Integration testing of the assigned software modules.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Describe the overall dynamic behavior of the software system of a specific software development project
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Define the resource consumption objectives for the overall software system of a specific software development project and for each software component of the SW Architecture
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Define the general verification criteria for the software architectural design
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Define the rules for the software integration & support the software integration
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Define the criteria for CPU load measurement conditions
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Definition of SW Safety Architecture (HLD), including allocation of Safety Requirements.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Implementation of SW Safety Analysis & Dependent Failure Analysis if applicable

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">The main skills needed by a SW Architect are:

  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">IT/ Electronics / Telecommunications degree (or similar)
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Fluent in English
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Knowledge of AUTOSAR
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Experience integrating and configuring Tier 2 SW (Vector, Elektrobit, Mentor, KPIT, etc).
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Knowledge of software design tools (i.e. Enterprise Architect)
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Knowledge of the Requirements management tools used (i.e. DOORS)
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Knowledge of the change management tools (i.e. JIRA)
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Knowledge of Multicore Systems
