Industrial & Maintenance Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Industrial and Maintenance Manager to join our well-established plant first line leadership team in Pozzo d’Adda, Italy. With approximately 150 personnel working within operations on site Lear Corporation produces seats for some of the worlds most prestigious carmakers.

Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, the Industrial and Maintenance manager will be responsible for all advanced manufacturing activities and maintenance process management on site. Leading a direct team of 7 staff members, the Industrial and Maintenance Manager will be entrusted with identifying and implementing new technologies and continuous improvement processes into the Pozzo Facility.

Your duties will include (but may not be limited to)

 

  • Managing, organizing and maintaining tools, also considering tools extension duration
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Installing equipment, machines, lines and plants supplies according to central procedures
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Planning and organizing activities related to new technology projects start- up
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Identifying and implementing new technologies to drive continuous improvement of processes
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Ensuring all industry and company required documentation is maintained to the agreed standard (PFMEAs, Launch Readiness Reviews, and updating of operating procedures)

 

To be a success in this position you will need

 

  • A minimum of 3 years leadership experience ideally gained from working in a production environment
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Knowledge of time trials, line Balancing, material handling, Poka Yokes, ergonomics, PFMEA, project planning and implementation
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Strong drive, determination and organizational skills to manage your own projects through to delivery.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">A strong understanding of Lean Production and continuous improvement principles
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Bachelor’s degree in in an engineering related discipline
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Excellent communication skills with a fluency in English and Italian languages
