About the role and your tasks:

 

Based out of our European Headquarter, this position brings the exciting opportunity to lead our customer and/or product initiatives to drive profitable sales growth in key electrical or electronic technology areas for regional customers.

Therefore, the key tasks of your new role would be:

  • Generate new customer inquiries through technology shows and targeted presentations - working closely with engineering and marketing. Attends key customer events promoting growth.
  • Develop a “Why Lear?” message for product portfolio; develop initial sales strategies for new/under-represented product lines.
  • Drive Long Range Revenue Plan commitments. Establish targets and roadmaps to achieve overall revenue growth by customer, product, and region.
  • Work with the product planning/marketing group to provide Voice of Customer and identify new markets/trends.
  • Ensure the integration of our key technologies in future projects / programs. Promote the entire range of Lear’s E-Systems product portfolio.
  • Prepare analysis/executive summaries for business cases with recommendations for management.
  • Reviews business cases for correct and appropriate inputs; challenge the team to constantly improve cost structure.
  • Standardize business practices across the globe; collaborate with a global team to ensure “One Lear” approach.
  • You are a member of the global advanced sales group - build and develop relationships with peers.

 

 

Your qualifcation:

 

  • Completed studies in a commercial or technical environment
  • Several years of professional experience in sales or consulting with automotive companies
  • Very good understanding of electrical components
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and German
  • Willingness to take on business trips at home and abroad
  • Ability to package complex technical concepts into simple added value for customers
  • You are detail-oriented, organized and communicative - and able to adapt to different target groups
