Development engineer mechanics

In addition to the classic wiring system with its connection systems, one focus is on the development of components for e-mobility electric vehicles such as high-voltage connectors and also cell contacting systems for traction batteries. For this area we are looking for reinforcement:


Your tasks


Design solutions for cell contact systems (CCS) in high-voltage batteries
Developing and evaluating solution designs taking into account functional, material, manufacturing and economic aspects
Consideration of component tolerances, taking into account necessary clearance and creepage distance
Application of FMEA-based development methods
Discuss technical details with customers, suppliers and internal departments
Instruct, guide and support technical draftsmen and/or design engineers

Your qualifications


Degree in mechanical engineering or mechatronics or comparable training
Professional experience as a design engineer in the automotive industry desirable
Experience in the design of mechatronic systems desirable
Very good knowledge of Catia V5 or similar
Very good knowledge of German and English
Good knowledge of materials and production technology for plastic injection molding, busbars and connectors as well as knowledge of the industry product range is an advantage
Knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) will accompany your daily work routineTechnical understanding, communication, presentation and teamwork skills as well as strong planning and coordination skills complete your profile
