We are in position to offer a great job opportunity to work as Test Engineer based in Torreon Plant II, Torreon, Coahuila (E-Systems Division).
As Tools & Process Coordinator you will have an excellent opportunity to work in an International and growing environment reporting directly to Engineering Manager.
Your Task will be
- Responsible for the development and installation of test equipment for the start-up of new products, from the prototype phases to launch and engineering changes.
- Responsible for making necessary updates to test equipment and programs.
- Provides technical support to each of the manufacturing areas of the plant, as required.
- Supports APQP planning meetings for engineering changes, model year changes, and new product launches.
- Generates and tracks test equipment requisitions; ensuring that it is delivered, installed and released according to the times required by the different plant programs.
- Actively participates in multidisciplinary teams to solve quality and manufacturing problems.
- Ensures and controls that investments and expenses in test equipment are within budget.
- Monitors and tracks the performance of test equipment suppliers.
To be Successful in this rule you will need:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree on industrial Engineering or any related field.
- 1 year on test areas or similar positions within the automotive industry of wiring harnesses.
- APQP Knowledge
Engineering Change Management knowledge. - Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- English Intermediate Level.
