Platform SW Architect

Position Overview:

The Platform SW Team Leader will participate in the assigned embedded software development projects for Lear in the automotive field. Reports to Global Autosar Platform SWTL & RFQs manager.

Main tasks will be:

•    Plan and control the software development activities of Autosar Platform SW.
•    Define together with the Product line development and tests strategies.
•    Report status of Autosar Platform SW development. 
•    Manage Autosar Platform SW resources.
•    Tailor processes and methods to project needs.
•    Perform Autosar Platform SW estimations for projects (schedule, SW resources, SW Tools, memory, CPU load, ….)
•    Act as the communication interface with external groups (PL SW team, customer, HW team, manufacturing, SW suppliers, etc…)
•    Monitor and report Autosar Platform SW project risks status.
•    Monitor the SW Supplier agreed activities and deliverables.
•    Support Problem Management activities (tracking, reporting).
•    Support Autosar Platform SW developers.
 

Requirements for the position:

•    Engineering degree (electronics, Computer Science, Telecomuncations...)
•    Minimum 5 years of experience in embedded Software Development, preferable in the automotive market.
•    Good communication skills. Good at team work. Process oriented.
•    Fluent in English.
•    Experience managing projects as function owner or similar.
•    Experience with supplier management. 
•    Preferable, knowledge of AUTOSAR, experience developing or integrating and configuring Automotive AUTOSAR compliant stacks.
