HR Administrator

<span style="font-family:"Calibri Light",sans-serif">SUMMARY

<span style="font-family:"Calibri Light",sans-serif">The Human Resources Administrator supports the HR Department.  The Human Resources Administrator is part of the Human Resources department and reports to the Human Resources Assistant Manager.  Experience with Kronos, PeopleSoft and SuccessFactors is a plus!

<span style="font-family:"Calibri Light",sans-serif">ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<span style="font-family:"Calibri Light",sans-serif"> include the following (other duties may be assigned):

<span style="font-family:"Calibri Light",sans-serif">Assist with new hire process, schedules and administers new hire testing. 

<span style="font-family:"Calibri Light",sans-serif">Direct preparation and distribution of written and verbal information to inform employees of benefits programs such as insurance plans, pension plans, paid time off, and special employer sponsored activities.

<span style="font-family:"Calibri Light",sans-serif"> Plan and direct implementation and administration of benefits programs designed to insure employees against loss of income due to illness, injury, layoff, or retirement.

<span style="font-family:"Calibri Light",sans-serif">Notify employees and labor union representatives of changes in benefits programs.

<span style="font-family:"Calibri Light",sans-serif">Create monthly reports for the plant management.

<span style="font-family:"Calibri Light",sans-serif">Generate any contractual union reports like overtime accumulation, seniority, LOA listing, etc…

<span style="font-family:"Calibri Light",sans-serif">Conduct federal, state, and local government reporting of employee information.

<span style="font-family:"Calibri Light",sans-serif">Attendance tracking for hourly employees.

<span style="font-family:"Calibri Light",sans-serif">Possess computer software knowledge for many various tracking, reporting, and documenting tasks required by the basic requirements listed.

<span style="font-family:"Calibri Light",sans-serif">Training of hourly and salaried employees in Federal, State, and local mandated disciplines.

<span style="font-family:"Calibri Light",sans-serif">Perform clerical functions such as updating records and filing.

<span style="font-family:"Calibri Light",sans-serif">Assure adherence to the collective bargaining agreement.

<span style="font-family:"Calibri Light",sans-serif">Assist in addressing complaints and resolving problems.

<span style="font-family:"Calibri Light",sans-serif">Actively participate in self-directed work team model.

<span style="font-family:"Calibri Light",sans-serif">Follow ISO14001, TS16949 procedures/processes.

<span style="font-family:"Calibri Light",sans-serif">Participate in plant recycling efforts.

<span style="font-family:"Calibri Light",sans-serif">Perform other duties as assigned.

<span style="font-family:"Calibri Light",sans-serif">Health and Safety:

<span style="font-family:"Calibri Light",sans-serif">Be knowledgeable of all plant safety rules and ensure all employees perform their duties in compliance with the rules and regulations.

<span style="font-family:"Calibri Light",sans-serif">Take every reasonable precaution for the protection of the employees.

<span style="font-family:"Calibri Light",sans-serif">Insist that safe work procedures be established, and the employees follow these procedures and apply good judgment to the hazardous aspects of all tasks.

<span style="font-family:"Calibri Light",sans-serif">Participate in regular tours of the plant to observe health and safety conditions and provide positive reinforcement and instruction.

<span style="font-family:"Calibri Light",sans-serif">Ensure that prompt corrective action is taken whenever hazards are recognized, or unsafe acts are observed.

<span style="font-family:"Calibri Light",sans-serif">Take part in the employee participation system and support other employees in their assigned roles under the health and safety program.

<span style="font-family:"Calibri Light",sans-serif">Report all accidents, unsafe conditions and acts to your supervisor immediately.

<span style="font-family:"Calibri Light",sans-serif">Consider your job tasks effectively performed only if done safely.

<span style="font-family:"Calibri Light",sans-serif">Actively participate in the health and safety program.

<span style="font-family:"Calibri Light",sans-serif">It is the responsibility of the Human Resources Administrator to take appropriate action and to effectively communicate where necessary any observations which may impact Lear CC’s ability to manufacture a quality product and to achieve on-time delivery.  Individual actions which should be considered are as follows:

  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri Light",sans-serif">Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformances related to the product, process, and quality system.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri Light",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri Light",sans-serif">Identify and record any problems related to the product, process and quality system. 
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri Light",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri Light",sans-serif">Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri Light",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri Light",sans-serif">Verify implementation of solutions.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri Light",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri Light",sans-serif">Control further processing, delivery or installation of nonconforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.
