JOB TITLE: Maintenance Supervisor
JOB LOCATION (Hebron, OH Plant)


Directs the operation of the Maintenance Department, including the supervision of staff, assuring the quality of work, providing needed supplies and components, scheduling work, and the accurate documentation of work scheduled and completed.


The Role:

  • Provide leadership to department associates and create a positive, safe work environment for maximizing employee development, effectiveness, and efficiency
  • Deliver safety training for proper access and use of equipment and audits individuals’ safety performance in accordance with OSHA and company safety policies
  • Implement Reliability Engineer’s control plans for preventative, precision, and predictive maintenance
  • Work with maintenance team to craft effective job tasks for repair work orders and routine inspections
  • Create and administer job packages that include task instructions, safety requirements and permits, special tool requirements, kitted parts list, priority, and timing.
  • Audits the execution of critical repairs and inspections for accuracy and completeness
  • Maintains the Work in Planning (WIP) and Work Ready to Schedule (WRTS) backlog
  • Provides daily work schedules, including job packages, to all maintenance and tooling associates
  • Works with suppliers to ensure that parts arrive on time and as ordered
  • Ensures that maintenance and tooling associates accurately and consistently input required data into MVP
  • Maintains the daily and weekly resource availability schedules
  • Works within the corporate purchasing system to maintain effective spare parts inventory
  • Schedules personnel to cover 24/7 Operations
  • Works for Senior Engineer in the absence of the Reliability Engineer
  • Closely supervises PdM’s for predictive and condition-based maintenance strategies
  • Works with Reliability and Engineer to write work instructions tailored to the specific condition.
  • Conducts Root Cause Analysis reports for premature failures
  • Direct the work of Maintenance and Tooling Associates
  • Evaluate, discipline and reward as needed
  • All other duties assigned by supervisor


Physical & Environmental Requirements:

  • Majority of work is indoors
  • Weekend work will be required at times
  • May be required to obtain forklift and JLG training and certification


Your Qualifications:

  • Verified experience and training in industrial multi craft maintenance
  • Excellent safety record.
  • Facility with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and MVP (Maintenance software)
  • Ability to complete and maintain department records and reports
  • Verified supervisory and maintenance experience in positions of increasing


Bonus If You Have:

  • Knowledge and experience with 3 phase 480 electrical principles
  • Knowledge and experience with hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical control systems
  • Knowledge and experience with HVAC and industrial chiller systems
  • Knowledge and experience with Allen bradley and siemens variable frequency drives and associated equipment
  • Ability to become 24 hazwoper certified for chemical spill response
  • Knowledge and experience in manufacturing background
  • Experienced in blueprint and reading prints and bom’s
  • Experienced in welding principles mig-stick and tig preferred
  • Experience with assigning and monitoring work in computerized maintenance management systems
