Position Overview

Eagle Ottawa - Lear Corporation is looking for a Business Manager that will be fully accountable for all commercial related matters and customer relationship development for several European OEM’s such as Volvo, Renault, Nissan and PSA (among others. This person will be responsible to maintain existing business portfolio and grow future sales and profitability through close customer management and strong business negotiation.

 

Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to)

  • Business Development – including identifying new businesses and creating different customer strategies.
  • Establish advanced engagements with customers and track potential opportunities
  • Improve profitability by suggesting and realizing new improvements
  • Customer pricing management
  • Take ownership of the program’s financial aspects
  • Communicate progress to OEMs and support them
  • Maintain financial reporting for all programs in Profile
  • Manage serial pricing on timely manner to avoid any discrepancies

 

To be a success in this role you must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Fluency in French or Italian willl be desirable
  • Proven ability to develop new business opportunities
  • Strong customer relationships/network to convert leads into secured awards
  • Ability to build strong sales strategies
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Global key account management experience.
