Non-Production Purchasing Buyer

Responsibilities:

1. Continuously generate purchasing savings and cost avoidance thru technical and commercial initiatives.

2. Continuously source-out local and foreign vendors for price savings consideration.

3. Accredits and develop new and existing suppliers.

4. Responsible in the maintenance of PR and PO system and documents

5. Supports and participates Continuous Improvements or Six Sigma initiatives.

6. Supports the manufacturing plants for ensuring suppliers of on time delivery of quality goods and services.

7. Establishes consignment/blanket supplies for local/foreign orders.

8. Responsible for ensuring and maintaining the integrity of bidding projects via COUPA system

9. Responsible for canvassing of items commonly used by Cebu Plants.

10. Support the over-all business within the scope of Non-Production purchasing.

Requirements:

EDUCATION

College graduate, preferably with a degree in Engineering, Business or Accounting

EXPERIENCE

At least one to two years of experience as a Buyer

PERSONAL COMPETENCIES

Good oral and written communications

Good inter-personal relations.

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE

Must have fair knowledge in personal computers.

Good negotiation skills
