Responsibilities:

 

  • Conduct new project launches at multiple locations in Lear Structures Europe.
  • Customer contact regarding product quality / items.
  • Part of an international launch team assigned to a specific project (company and plant level members from PM, IE, AME, Quality, Purchasing, Sales).
  • Management of launch activities in accordance with client and automotive industry requirements and timing.
  • Analysis and implementation of customer specific requirements (CSR - customer specific requirements).
  • DFMEA and PFMEA team member, AP reduction support / action priority.
  • Consideration of complaints and transfer of conclusions drawn from similar products/projects, prevention of errors.
  • Management of Lear and Customer Portals, updating and uploading data based on agreed timings.
  • Carrying out internal and external audits (Launch Audit, VDA 6.3), participation in customer audits.
  • Adhering to the safe launch plan and following up on the action plans created.
  • Preparation of 8D reports (one pager).
  • Preparation of MGR’s Quality Pack (Management Gate Review).
  • Preparation of six panels for monthly reports.
  • Preparation of all project documentation (Inspection Plans, Boundary Book, PPAP) and participation in acceptance processes with the Customer.
  • Participation in the so-called Cubings / Slow Build / Teardown.
  • Revision of technical data, focus on reducing special characteristics in cooperation with Engineering.
  • Collaboration and responsibility for advanced quality planning activities including reviews with the customer and internal quality team.
  • Ensure that customer requirements are incorporated into product specifications and included in the quality management plan.
  • Responsible for confirming and completing PPAP documentation

 

 

Requirements:

 

  • Engineering degree or equivalent technical degree.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a quality technician.
  • Ability to read technical drawings.
  • Knowledge of APQP and PPAP.
  • Practical knowledge of quality tools such as: Ishikawa, 5Why, 8D, SPC, MSA I and II, Pareto analysis, PPAP.
  • Availability for business trips (approx. 30% of working time).
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.
  • Consistently delivers positive results / goal orientation.
  • Mature problem solving skills and high responsibility.
  • Ability to work in an international team.
  • High communication skills.
  • Ability to build and develop good relationships / contacts with customers.
