Advanced Manufacturing Engineer

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Work in an international environment in the central Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Team for Europe
• Support Industrialization of new LEAR Production Site in Kecskemet, Hungary.
• Support project/product launches (cost optimization, deadlines, quality) and production. 
• Work together with Plant Industrial Engineering teams to ensure implementation of layouts, processes and equipment most efficient, using reliable equipment and following well defined standards to enable the plants to deliver the right product at lowest cost, in the right quality and on time.
• Carry out, update and verify Assembly Time Studies based on BasicMOST Method.
• Roll out of Advanced Manufacturing Engineering standards and track progress
• Increase standardisation
• Working together with other departments (such as Production System IT; Costing team; Equipment team; Automation team and central logistics)
• Support on engineering changes (costing and process changes)
• Support plants to improve KPI´s
• Support and audit plant teams in PFMEA
• Support plant teams for CAPEX planning and execution
• Look for process innovations and support roll out

Job Requirements:

• Completed degree in industrial engineering or comparable degrees
• 3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering (preferred in seating/ automotive business)
• Business Fluent: English and Hungarian
• Sound knowledge of MS-Office
• Experience in project management beneficial
• Understanding of Lean Production and the desire for continuous improvement
• communication skills combined with team spirit
• Independent, motivated, results- oriented work style
• Willingness to travel and flexibility (50%)
• AutoCAD knowledge
• Time study knowledge (preferred MOST or MTM)

Location:

• Gyor or Kecskemet plant at least for time of plant industrialization, ramp up and Post SOP
• Before and after other LEAR JIT locations can be discussed
