Engineering Project Leader - Connection Systems

Your tasks:

- As part of our global development project team in the Connection Systems business unit (connectors, terminals, fuses, fuse boxes, cell contact systems etc.), you will be responsible for the cross-divisional coordination of all development tasks.

- You will work closely with our national and international design, laboratory, and validation teams as well as with our customers and suppliers to plan projects and set milestones - from the offer phase through to series production.

- Resource planning is just as much a part of your duties as the documentation, monitoring and communication of the project process.

- As the interface between Engineering and Program Management, you will be involved in all key decisions and play a key role in presenting the project plan and take part in plan reviews to the customer.

- You will be the first point of contact for our customers regarding project implementation and the processes in our engineering department.

 

Your profile:

- You have successfully completed a technical degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, automotive engineering, or similar / alternatively technical business.

- You can demonstrate relevant experience in engineering, development and project management within the automotive industry.

- You have knowledge of stamping/bending technology as well as plastics technology.

- We require good knowledge of MS Office and MS-Teams applications as well as experience in using software for project and resource planning.

- You have a very good English knowledge - German would be an advantage.

- You are characterized by the ability to work in an analytical and results-oriented manner.

- You can manage several projects at the same time in a concentrated and focused manner, as well as successfully structure and motivate your project teams.
