SR. DIGITAL & CONTENT MARKETING MANAGER
SOUTHFIELD, MICHIGAN, WORLD HEADQUARTERS

 

As a member of the global Marketing and Communications team, the Digital & Content Marketing Manager will execute and optimize B2B campaigns across all channels to provide a unified experience that engages our target audiences at various points along the customer journey. Based at Lear’s corporate headquarters in Southfield, Michigan, this cross-functional, multi-disciplinary role works with all Marketing, Branding and Communications to develop highly targeted content strategies for key stakeholders and will report to the Global Director, Marketing.

The Role:

  • Digital Marketing Strategy – Oversee the planning, development and execution of digital marketing strategies. Develops a strategy and implementation roadmap that ensures short-term goals and support long-term objectives. Manage the core owned and earned channels, including the corporate website, email and social, as well as paid media. Establishes a set of key metrics that aligns digital marketing objectives with the underlying drivers of the business
  • Content Management – Partners with internal and external teams to develop and support content marketing, asset creation and management, and campaign optimization. Create a content marketing strategy that reflects an understanding of key audiences and aligns high-impact content to audience needs. When needed, actively participate in selection of partners aligned with the digital marketing roadmap and objectives. Allocate and manages budget and resources to meet strategic priorities.
  • Advertising Strategy and ImplementationMaximizes the effectiveness of multichannel advertising and marketing campaigns. Select and manage relevant advertising and marketing campaign management tools, technologies and applications in conjunction with other organization stakeholders. Evolve audience segmentation efforts based on customer profiles and gathered from within marketing and other customer-facing teams.
  • Digital Marketing Analytics & Tools Elevate the role digital marketing technologies and data play within marketing and across the enterprise. Outline and communicate a holistic vision that ties effective digital marketing execution to broader marketing and business mandates, such as enhancing customer experience. Manage and use tools for measuring the success of digital marketing programs and integrated advertising campaigns. Demonstrate the impact of digital marketing activities on engagement, sales and ROI.
  • Effective Leadership – Build relationships and communicate vision and roadmap. Develop and nurture formal and informal professional networks in the marketing organization, across other departments and outside the organization with vendors and marketing service providers

Skills:

  • Multifaceted understanding of the evolving marketing technology landscape, including advances in relevant tools such as multichannel marketing hubs, ad tech and customer data platforms
  • Proven ability to effectively manage people, process and technology change in a dynamic and complex operating environment
  • Demonstrate talent for building and developing relationships with nonmarketing functions such as sales, research, product and customer care/service
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, including a proven ability to explain complex digital concepts and technologies to senior business leaders, as well as business concepts to technologists

 

 

Your Qualifications:

  • 8+ years or more in digital marketing or coordinating multichannel campaigns
  • 5+ years or more managing a high-performing, cross-functional team (agency/in-house)
  • Strategy (agency/in-house) and/or management consulting background desirable in addition to the above, particularly where big-picture thinking is concerned

 

Proven track record in:

  • Support the marketing strategy by deploying digital capabilities
  • Using and prioritizing one or more digital marketing channels to drive business metrics
  • Media strategy, planning, buying and measurement
  • Managing projects with multiple workstreams and across multiple channels
  • Communicating cross-functionally
  • Cultivating marketing talent
