We have an exciting opportunity for experienced Candidate who wishes to develop in international environment within central Material Planning and Logistics structure. Supply Chain Strategy Manager will report to Senior MP&L Manager and will be tasked to ensure that strategic supply chain projects are developed and deployed into operations departments. Takes a coordinating lead, working closely with internal and external parties to ensure needed processes are in place to satisfy production and supply needs.

Role and responsibilities:

 

  • Support MP&L Innovation, Strategy, Leadership & Vision to enhance supply chain performance.
  • Implement internal strategic supply chain designs and playbooks to meet customer needs.
  • Stay updated at market and technology trends for translating them into potential internal deployments.
  • Strategically manage the coordination of supply chain projects from its early phase until final deployment into operation sites.
  • Drive continuous improvement and process optimization.
  • Support and promote collaboration with universities and colleges for ensuring talent acquisition.
  • Ensure MP&L and Industry 4.0 principles are basics for all running projects.
  • Driving seamless deployments with no materials related disruptions.
  • Develop skills and leadership always in the merge of supply operations and business analytics.
  • Facilitate reports and business analytics tools for supply and production processes.
  • Own responsibilities over any supply, materials, transport procurement and systems related projects within the organization.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Solid Supply Chain experience, ideally in the automotive sector.
  • A university degree in Engineering, Business, Logistics, IT or a related field.
  • Proficiency in English; additional language skills are advantageous.
  • Expertise in systems and ERP.
  • Understanding of databases.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to develop processes and procedures.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of contractual and legal aspects (preferred).
  • Enthusiasm for transformation projects.
  • Long-term strategic vision.
  • Effective communication abilities.
