Expectations

 

  • Min. 1 year of experience in purchasing area, ideally in automotive industry. 
  • Experience within TRIM commodity would be an asset i.e. plastics extrusions, thread, zippers, non woven, carpet, lamination materials. 
  • Good level of economic awareness. 
  • Proficiency in English. 
  • Planning, organizational and communication skills. 
  • Good MS Office/Excel knowledge, SAP system knowledge will be an asset. 

 

 

 

Tasks:

 

  • Drive Initial sourcin and/or re-sourcing process, manage supplier selection process from RFQ to business award. 
  • Analyze cost break downs in cooperation with cost engineering.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers.
  • Manage and follow up on technical change requests. 
  • Purchase order administration and maintenance. 
  • Support operational functions in solving supplier quality and logistic issues. 
  • Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities in line with annual saving targets.
