Junior Program Buyer - fixed term

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Central Purchasing team. If you are a quick- learner with fluent English and excellent communication skills, join our team as Junior Program Buyer.




  • Obtaining and consolidating all relevant program data from Program Management and Engineering
  • Organizing and leading a kick-off meeting with Commodity Purchasing to present program information and milestones
  • Ensuring the availability of data for closed orders for serial tooling and/or production components during program trail phases
  • Tracking and communicating all orders in accordance with the commodity strategies
  • Supporting Commodity Buyers in collecting the necessary data to search for and select supplier during sourcing process
  • Organizing and leading regular Sourcing Calendar reviews with Commodity Purchasing, Program Management and Engineering.
  • Monitoring and reporting the sourcing status and supplier choice
  • Tracking Change Releases and Change Notices in SRM in accordance with applicable procedures during the pre SOP phase
  • Keeping track of ProFile deliverables and ensuring closure according to defined timing
  • Supporting Lear plants to prevent production disruption
  • Supporting any post nomination suppliers issues by arranging/being present at supplier reviews




  • Minimum Bachelor Degree 
  • Nice to have: previous experience in purchasing area in automotive industry
  • Fluent English
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (mainly MS Excel) and ERP system
  • Ability to read technical drawings
  • Negotiation skills
  • Ability to cope with stress
  • Analytical skills
