Category Buyer with languages

Due to creation and development of the Central Purchasing Team, we are searching for Category Buyers who will join us and support with their purchasing experience, as well as, language skills.

 

We have 3 vacancies for people who can easily communicate in below set of languages:

  • German & English
  • Italian & English
  • Czech/Slovak & English

 

Languages are mandatory so if you don’t have purchasing experience, but you are a quick-learner, please feel free to send us your application.

Your tasks will be: 

  • Defining new strategies for mapping and tracking his specific non-production category
  • Negotiating Lear Supplier Agreements with suppliers to improve cost and prices
  • Supporting plants with implementation of new prices / suppliers
  • Managing the quotation process together with the responsible people from plant
  • Making sure suppliers receive RFQs in line with Lear requirements
  • Presents supplier comparison and summary to Management for final sourcing decision
  • Ongoing recommendation for improvement of procedures and processes
     

We expect from you: 

  • Specific language set skills as mentioned above is mandatory
  • Experience within non-production purchasing function would be a strong plus
  • Category management experience would be a huge plus
  • Strong negotiation abilities, good level of economic awareness
  • Highly developed planning and organizational skills
  • Outstanding communication skills coupled with strong customer focus and ability to work with all levels of the organization
