Tasks:

 

  • Manage trim components commodities
  • Develop strategies to achieve current and long-term results for assigned components and follow up their implementation
  • Achieve savings commodity target through negotiation and Supplier Cost Technical Optimization (SCTO)
  • Negotiate and manage material economics on a YOY basis
  • Test global markets to ensure the most favorable value chain; identify & develop alternative suppliers
  • Manage quotation process and sourcing selection of components in line with business requirements with best in class cost and quality
  • Maintain systems with pricelist updates, supplier contracts
  • Support entire Product life cycle from Customer new programs award stages through mass production and until End of Life
  • Support plants on logistic and quality problems with suppliers

 

Expectations:

 

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience within production company in strategic purchasing in automotive industry
  • Experience in direct commodity (trim covers components knowledge will be an asset)
  • Experience in sourcing and leading negotiations with international suppliers
  • Good level of economic awareness
  • Proficiency in English
  • Highly developed planning and organizational skills with flexibility
  • Outstanding communication skills coupled with leadership and strong customer focus and ability to work with all levels of the organization
  • Good MS Office/Excel knowledge, SAP system experience will be an asset
