We are looking for a skilled Advanced Quality engineer eager to work in one of the best automotive electronic company based on the Lear Valls campus (Tarragona, Spain). Driven by a quality excellence mindset, you’ll focus on:

 

New projects: part of the development and validation team, you will need to develop synergies between Program Management / Product / Process / Quality, departments in order to Plan / Perform / Gather / Correlate all PPAP documentation and obtain costumer approval for Start Of Production.

 

Involved in the early phases of the project, you’ll be responsible to validate, track the implementations and Monitor the quality improvements in the builds of prototype and series lines. Your goal shall be to guarantee the necessaries conditions for a smooth & safe launch.

 

Projects after Start Of Production: Focus on costumer satisfaction, you will be the main contact for Quality issue. Assuring robust action plans to perform, and achieve continuous improvement processes you will fallow the evolution of the project during the rest of its life.

 

Responsibilities:

 

 

  • Development and Validation of PPAPs documentation.
  • Create, follow and engage the team with quality KPIs
  • Evaluate efficiency of Process Changes.
  • Team leader in dealing with internal non-conformities, 0km & Field rejections.
  • Build and spread out lesson learned.
  • Productive Process Audit with Customer.
 
Requirements:

  • University degree (Engineering, Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical).
  • At least 3 years of experience in the automotive sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in APQP and PPAP.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge in problem-solving tools and 8D's + Core tools: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA and CP.

Nice to have: Electronics knowledge, Lean Manufacturing, IATF 16949 / VDA 6.3 auditor, Interpretation of drawings, Risk assessment software: Mini tab, Weibull, Certification in IPC 610, Excel advanced level (macro)

Languages: A high level of English and Spanish is a must; other languages would be an advantage.
