Job based in Lear Corporation- Zacatecas Plant, Morelos, Zacatecas.

You will be responsible for meeting plant financial objectives and goals.

 

Your task will be

  • Ensures compliance with company Policies.      
  • Supervises and ensures compliance with the production plan (862/830) for the programs under its responsibility.                                      
  • Ensures and authorizes compliance with the predetermined quality levels in the month's forecast.                                                      
  • Ensures optimal use of human resources in the production area through proper balancing of workstations.                                                          
  • Comply with the corresponding responsibility in each of the procedures that include the requirements of the standards that govern our quality system IATF16949, ISO 9001, ISO14001 and SOX.
  • Responsibility and authority to stop production due to quality, safety or any situation that puts the integrity of personnel and plant at risk.
  • Complies and enforces safety regulations.       
  • Responsible for training new salary staff in the key functions of the department.                                                 
  • Review and approval of entries and exits of the personnel under your charge (Kronos).                                                         
  • Give the resources and time so that new staff can be trained in the functions they define the job description.
  • Ensure compliance with financial and operational metrics such as efficiency, hours, scrap, quality, safety business improvement and utility projects (OI).
  • Every month you should make sure to have your one-on-one with your coordinators or supervisors to fill out your scorecard.    
  • Each room must make sure to have their coaching conversation with their team, giving feedback, congratulating, as well as creating action plans to continue improving, challenging, stimulating the development and growth of its staff.                                                    
  • Enforce order and cleanliness of the area in your charge.
  • Carry out the engagement system or methodology at all levels of the area (TWW).                  
  • Ensure that your team in charge complies with the requirements applicable to NOM 45001.                                               
  • Ensure compliance with each of the guidelines of our operating model that apply to the operation.                                                    
  • Work actively on the development and growth of your staff, with written plans (Succession Organization Chart)                                                                                                                                                                                                                           

To succeed in this role, you will need

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or related.
  • Proficient English.
  • +3 years of experience in a similar position in the automotive industry.
