Job Description
We are in position to offer a great job opportunity to work as APQP Engineer, based in Naco Plant, Quimistan, Santa Barbara (E-Systems Division).
As APQP Engineer will be through good early planning aimed at improving the activities and steps that are carried out during the process of releasing new products, increasing the quality and satisfaction of our customers.
Responsibilities
Your Task will be
- Ensure the release and validation of production lines during the prototype through launch phases and engineering changes.
- Follow-up on the team’s planning meetings.
- Follow-up and monitoring of the auditor’s launch file.
- Follow-up and monitoring of the PPAP file and customer (PSW) approvals.
- Requesting IMDS and PPAP for components in each program and family.
- Follow-up on launch runs, samples, and master parts.
- Ensure follow up and implementation of corrective actions determined with multifunctional team.
- Willingness to work overtime (weekends) and the 2nd shift (occasionally). #LI-AG1.
Skills
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in industrial Engineer or career to end.
Experience Requirements
1 year of experience as APQP Engineer (desirable).
Certifications / Licenses
Knowledge: Advanced planning, APQP process, PPAP, customer management, Six Sigma, (not essential).
Strong Microsoft Office Skills.
Proven analytical, communications and organizational skills.
Ability to interface across multiple organizations, product lines and levels in the organization.
Languages
Bilingual (Spanish english).
