Job Title: Process Engineer (Backend)

We are in position to offer a great job opportunity to work as Process engineer based on Apodaca, Nuevo Leon.
Your tasks will be:
- Provide support to product engineers in the launch of new products, including the design of the production line and processes.
- Contribute to cost reduction and to the development of production techniques for new products.
- Review functions and specifications to determine construction and operational details, considering factors such as manufacturability, interchangeability of parts, ergonomic conditions, inspection, and maintenance.
- Develop new and improved process techniques and equipment to achieve acceptable manufacturing capability based on customer requirements and develop acceptance criteria for machines.
- Participate in equipment installation, decide on test-machine acceptance as required, release equipment jointly with Quality, and hand over to Production after demonstrating capability through a Run and Rate.
- Plan and develop process specifications and assembly instructions. Update them based on process improvements and needs.
- Develop methods, tools, and equipment usage to increase production efficiency and reduce costs.
- Investigate and resolve manufacturing problems related to assembly and electronic product processes.
- Perform a variety of complex engineering and technical duties to ensure product and process compliance with customer specifications.
- Demonstrate a high degree of initiative and judgment in solving manufacturing problems.
- Ability to perform all duties with limited supervision.
- Strong teamwork skills.
- Comply with environmental quality policies, procedures, safety standards, and Lear Corporation work regulations.
- Cover the technical skills required by the position, such as Wave Solder, Radial insertion equipment, Conformal Coat, etc.
- Support the Product Engineer with the technical information necessary for equipment and process selection for manufacturing.
- Responsible for the creation and update of the PFMEA together with the multifunctional team, including Maintenance, Quality, Shipping, etc.
To Be Successful In This Role You Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or any related area.
- 2+ Years of experience in automotive industries.
- Must have 2+years of experience in solder process (Backend)
- Proficient with Microsoft office (Excel)
- Problem solving and communications skills.
- Proficient English level.
