The VAT Specialist EMEA role is based in the Lear Financial Shared Service Centre located in Brno, Czech Republic. The Centre is supporting various European Lear plants with their internal Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable tasks and supports also VAT reporting obligations. Your main responsibilities will be:

• Performing monthly/quarterly VAT compliance tasks for Lear group VAT registrations in different countries in the EMEA
• Invoices and other documentation reviews to check the correct VAT treatment
• Coordination with plants and tax authorities
• Ad-hoc tasks and related administration

Requirements:

• Previous experience with finance required (AP, AR or VAT)
• Willingness to learn new things related to EU VAT rules and VAT compliance
• Accurate and affine with numbers
• Attention to details
• Advanced knowledge of English (corporate language and process related documentation in English)
• PC skills (Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel)
