Assistant Controller

About the Role

We are looking for a full-time Assistant Controller to support the Plant Controlling function at our Caivano facility.

The role will provide operational financial support within the plant environment, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting. The position works closely with the Plant Controller and cross-functional teams to support business performance and cost control.


Key Responsibilities
• Support month-end and quarterly closing activities
• Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes
• Monitor work orders, overheads, and cost performance
• Support internal and external audits (including SOX compliance)
• Ensure accounting compliance with US GAAP and local GAAP
• Collaborate with engineering, production, purchasing, and program management teams
• Provide financial analysis and performance reporting to management


Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 1–3 years of experience in controlling or accounting (manufacturing environment is a plus)
• Good knowledge of accounting principles
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• SAP knowledge preferred
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and teamwork skill
