Job Description

 

 

The Account Management Associate Role is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day entry data activities for open commercial related activities.   

The goal is to ensure that cost / price information is always maintained and updated using bump charts and P.O.’s. and must have the ability to understand BOMs and cost inputs from Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Logistics.

Responsibilities

  • Update sales bump chart
    • Review cost variances provided by cost engineering department
    • Validate P.O. price
    • Maintain EC / CN cross reference
  • Review EC (Engineering Change) content and compare vs. released CN’s (Change Notices)
  • Maintain equipment and tool log.
    • Track piece price amortization and expiration date
  • Maintain and update direct material matrix.
  • Update and maintain volume matrix
  • Prepare sample quotes

Education Requirements

 

The ideal candidate has:

  • Technical or commercial studies leading to a Bachelor's or Master's degree – Business or Finance
  • Great interest in sales and administration
  • Independent and resourceful
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Very good knowledge of English, German is a PLUS

Experience Requirements

What is expected:

  • Strong understanding of BOMs
  • Knowledge of automotive seating components (metal structure, mechanisms, foam, trim, etc.)
  • Experience in cost calculation, cost analysis, and price buildup
  • Improved MS Office skills, especially Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
  • Experience working with ERP systems (preferably Coupa, SAP)
  • Basic knowledge of OEM customer processes and online portals (e.g., Mercedes-Benz) and understanding of production processes within the automotive supply industry is big plus
  • Ability to handle administrative office activities
