Job Description
As an EHS Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the implementation and execution of safety-focused initiatives.
Responsibilities
• Lead compliance efforts regarding applicable regulations, ergonomics, industrial hygiene, fire protection systems, and the protection of company assets.
• Coordinate annual health and safety plans, define numerical targets, and report them to the central office.
• Develop accident prevention plans and lead their implementation within the plant.
• Implement and monitor the "Safe Machine" program.
• Evaluate the EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) risk premium and coordinate programs to reduce it through accident prevention.
• Ensure compliance with Lear Corporation policies and procedures, as well as Quality and Environmental policies.
• Ensure the plant complies with all legal and regulatory requirements relevant to its registered operations.
Skills
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Environmental Engineering / related.
Experience Requirements
• Experience in ISO 14000, 45001, CTPAT.
• Knowledge of environmental laws and regulations.
• 5+ years of experience in EH&S
Languages
Proficient English level required.
